Yuba County is located in the U.S. state of California's Central Valley, north of Sacramento, along the Feather River. As of 2006 its population was 71,938. The county seat is Marysville. Yuba County was one of the original counties of California, formed in 1850 and named after the Yuba River by Captain John Sutter for the Native American village Yubu.
